전설이 되어버린 스키드로, 콜로세움II, 필 리뇻과의 연대, 솔로활동 등으로 수많은 걸작을 만들어낸
게리무어의 20번째 정식앨범으로 1992년에 발매됐다.
Still God The Blues에 이은 두번째 블루스 락 앨범이다.
장르대로 블루스 락이다.
정통이 아닌듯 섞여있는 듯 하지만 그 열정과 열의는 매우 인상적인 음악들을 만들어낸것 같다.
내가 듣기는 락보다는 좀 더 블루스에 치우친 곡들이
리듬과 혼섹션이 충분한 그루브감을 느끼게 해주면서도 안정적 이어서
진하지만 깔끔하고 영롱한 게리 무어의기타와 더 잘 어울리는 느낌이다.
전체적으로 블루스 락을 표방하면서 곡 하나하나는전체 속에서 또 다른 다양함를 맛보게 해주는데
선곡순서가 그 재미를 더욱 증폭시키는 느낌은 나만의 느낌일려나.
결국은 마지막 곡을 듣기위해 꺼낸 앨범을 흥미롭게도 처음부터 열심히 듣게 됐다.
기타가 가지고 있는 감정이 Parisienne Walkways나 Spanish Guitar 등의 연장선에 있는 듯도 하지만
높게 뻗어나가는울림이 더욱 깊게만 느껴지는 마지막곡 Nothing's The Same은 역시나 감동을 준다.
가사를 보니 과거 여러 추모곡을 헌정한 그의 심정이 앨범 타이틀 After Hours속에서 Blues와 함께
Nothing's The Same으로 귀결되는 것이 아닐까
